Sandra E. Suarez has been a dedicated legal professional in Iowa since earning her Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1998. Before her legal career, she graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Washington. Growing up in a Cuban immigrant family on the southside of Des Moines, Sandra is proud to speak Spanish fluently. Outside of her legal practice, she cherishes spending time with her three children, traveling, and cooking delicious meals with her family.
My Story
A native of Des Moines, Sandra E. Suarez has a long history advocating on behalf of Iowans. Sandra has served Iowans since 1998 as an attorney and lobbyist. Sandra has worked on complex family law cases, immigration matters, and bilingual mediations. Sandra has served the Iowa legal community for over two decades.

She is committed to serving the underserved and those in need. Sandra is also actively engaged in our community at the local level volunteering as a long-time proud board member of the Iowa Homeless Youth Centers, working with the St. Florian Burn Foundation, and local arts.
Sandra understands that being involved in a court matter can be a very stressful and emotional time. Sandra has been through her own personal experiences which allow her to relate with many of her clients. She understands firsthand the emotional toll such a process can take. Sandra takes the time to explain to her clients what to expect – the process and potential outcomes.
